The Degradation of Our Friend, Josh is a creepy PC-based adventure game. 


How To Play:

    Find all the journal entries in order to spawn the final boss. As you read the different entries, you'll learn about the history of the ranch and have to fight enemies to be able to find all of the journal entries. Can you save Josh from the ranch?

    Your counter for how many journal entries you have collected is in the top left of the screen, while your health bar is in the top right. Journal entries will pop up with an exit button in the top right of the journal entry page. 

    Tutorial: Controls Tutorial

    Controls:

    • Movement is controlled by W, A, S, D. (W moves you forward, A to the left and D to the right, and S moves you backward)
    • In order to jump, you will need to press the spacebar. 
    • To attack, you will throw your ax using left-click, and you can retrieve your ax by using right-click.
    • To sprint, you need to hold down the shift key.
    • To pick up a journal entry, press "E" while looking at the journal.

When you die and when you quit after winning, the application will kick you out. Do not be alarmed, it did what it was supposed to. :)

Install instructions

Install the file (it is a little larger, so it may take a second)

Extract the folder

Run the file called "The Degradation of Our Friend, Josh.exe"

If a blue window appears, press "More Info" and "Run Anyway"

I was sort of confused at first but I had fun playing. The noises and the sudden colorblindness was nice. I played this with a few friends watching and it was an all around fun time. 8.7/10 would recommend
